Italian Mid-Century Coin Accented Glass Table Lamp, Parzinger Era
This is a wonderful example of a mid century Italian glass lamp. We have never seen another lamp quite like this one. Opaque white glass in a bulbous form. Gilt applied faux coins in varying shades of gold and silver adorn the body of the lamp. We rewired and fitted the lamp with a new socket/harp and added a parchment off white drum shade to show off the lamp base's shape.
The lamp, before rewiring, showed no evidence of a label or signature. We attribute it to the Fornasetti, Gio Ponti or Parzinger era. Believed to be Italian.
No cracks. Minor surface wear. A few small spots on glass. In working condition. 60 watt bulb recommended. Lamp - 18.5" H to socket x est 8" W Shade 15" W x 9" H
